With its secure keyless entry, the Smart Code 917 provides fast and quiet motorized deadbolt with an illuminated keypad for keyless door entry to your home, and one-touch locking when leaving. It's important to measure your door's backset, cross bore, and thickness to ensure you find the right fit.
The easy programming feature allows you to set up keyless door entry with up to 30 programmable unique custom user codes for anytime access, including optional one-time user codes. The lock offers three locking modes: "Auto-lock," which locks after entry and exit; "Passage," which stays unlocked; and "Disable Passage," which auto-locks every time and requires a key or code for entry.
Kwikset's SmartKey security technology protects against advanced break-in techniques and allows you to re-key your lock yourself in seconds. The easy installation process takes just a few minutes with a screwdriver, and the lock fits doors between 1-3/8" and 1-3/4" thick. The 9V battery can last up to 3 years.
