Offering optimal auto-locking that relocks the door after opening, this deadbolt features an illuminated keypad for increased visibility. It accommodates up to 50 user codes and 10 single-use codes, allowing users to choose between 1-99 second auto-lock or 2 second one-touch lock.
Installation is quick and easy, requiring only a Phillips screwdriver, and no wiring is needed. The deadbolt is reversible and can be installed on right or left-handed doors, making it ideal for the front, back, and side doors, or anywhere secure access is required. It is compatible with most standard doors 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick, with an adjustable latch to fit a 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" backset.
Additionally, this electronic deadbolt features a mechanical cylinder for traditional keyed access, providing a backup method if preferred. It is powered by 4 AA batteries (not included), which can last up to 24 months or longer, and includes a low battery indicator.
